September 9, Asiabrand launched its 15th Asian Brand Rally in Hainan Free Trade Port. This year’s title of rally “Innovation of Brand Financing”, is merging the value of brands and the brand financing. In the newly published Top 500 Asian Brands list, HBIS ranks No.264 with its 53.649billion Yuan band value, No.2 in Chinese steel manufacturers.
In 2019, HBIS deeped its supply side reform and continued its innovative oriented development. It has pursued a high end and high quality path by upgrading its client structures and product structures. High end products sales increased 14.2% and its technological innovation is strengthening the upgrade of its green products. The group has diversfied its R&D platforms by establishing 28 innovation ventures and 7 new projects, including high thickness V-Cr-Mo plates becomes the country’s first products. The new somke and dust supression system owns a world leading capabilities.

On October 15, HBIS CCP & Group Chairman Yu Yong took his office as 41st Chairman of World Steel Association in Monterrey Mexico.
